Our Story
Our story is one that begins as many other great star crossed love stories do, with a small, crowded, slightly damp, Aber dorm room party in the great year 2016. Twas the night before Cat/Griz and Kyle was visiting from MSU to root against the cats like the die hard lil Griz fan he is. We were introduced by Kyle's cousin and Madison's sorority sister Jamie. Kyle and Madison spent the evening debating about the Seahawks, who was a bigger Griz fan(Kyle is), and who was funnier(Madison is). The following semester Kyle realized his mistake and transferred to The University of Montana. Kyle joined the Kappa Sigma fraternity, the fraternity next door to Madison’s sorority. Madison and Kyle met again at a very classy social gathering, Tequila Tuesday. Kyle made the best decision of his life and asked Madison out on a date a few days later(after he got really cool boat tattoo). Madison and Kyle had such a great time together, they had a second date the very next night and have been dating ever since!
Madison and Kyle continued to date throughout college, happily going to formals, Griz games, and national parks together becoming inseparable. They graduated in 2020 and moved to Livingston, MT to make their mark. They decided to adopt a goofy little dog, Zion. In 2021 they packed everything up into a uhaul and moved to Seattle to start a new chapter, after a quick detour to enjoy the summer in Frenchtown.
In December 2022, Kyle planned a winter spa weekend getaway in Leavenworth, Washington where he got down on one knee and proposed. Much to Madison's surprise, not only had Kyle had arranged for a photographer to be there to capture the special moment, but he surprised her with close friends and family to celebrate with. In true Kyle fashion, he proposed in socks and sandals and proposed with a Ring Pop.
And that brings us to our wedding day. We have been dreaming of this day for a long time and cannot wait to spend the day with our friends and family who mean so much to us. We are truly thankful you will be joining us and cannot express how grateful we are.
